1.Instructions for Delivery
Most of countries near to the west part of China, except Russia and Pakistan, basically, all are landlocked countries, so we usually resorted to road transportation, mostly truck delivery.
We can send out goods from the following three cities on demand of clients.
Unless the client specifically states, we usually send out goods from Urumqi.
Land transportation is the primary way for trade between China and all neighboring countries near to west part of China. Allegedly truck transportation holds a percentage as high as 90% among them. Urumqi is playing a crucial role of collecting and distributing. In other words，most of goods need to be delivered to Urumqi firstly. There is a simple but reliable and effective international transportation system in Urumqi, which allows you to easily and quickly deliver goods to major cities in all neighboring countries,especially Russia and Central Asian countries.
For delivery from China (Urumqi) to all neighboring countries near to west part of China, first of all it is necessary to find a reliable warehouse in Urumqi. A warehouse plays a role much more than simply storage of goods. In fact, it is your agent for storage, dispatch and shipment of goods. Once you find such a reliable warehouse, you need not worry about details during shipment, the warehouse handles everything expeditiously for you.

However there is a better and easier way to identify your right warehouse. We suggest our clients find a warehouse locally. Thus once the client find directly a trustworthy warehouse in Almaty,Kazakhstan, then surely they would be very glad to recommend you without hesitation their counterpart warehouse in Urumqi. In this case, the client only need to keep in touch with the local warehouse constantly to track delivery status.
After establishing a partnership with a warehouse, the warehouse would give their new customer, the consignee, a code. At the moment accepting goods, a warehouse marks the code at the external package to denote its ownership.
Unless it is expressly specified, delivery from Urumqi to cities abroad shall be paid by the customer. The cost of shipping includes customs clearance. Delivery costs sometimes vary.
2.Instructions for Customs Clearance
Typically, the client does not need to directly deal with the Customs authorities. Transport companies usually handle customs clearance through professional brokers, sometimes a transport company itself is a broker. There is no reason to deny that such way of customs clearance lies between lawful and unlawful, but at present, this is the most common and practical choice based on the reality.
In most cases the delivery cost includes customs clearance, which often varies.

3.Delivery Modes
3.1.1. Land transportation is the primary way for trade between China and all neighboring countries near to west part of China. According to statistics truck transportation holds a percentage as high as 90% among them.
3.1.2.Before shipment, please make sure that you already found a warehouse receiving your goods in Urumqi. We strongly suggest our clients find a warehouse locally. If you have a difficulty finding a suitable warehouse for some reason, we can recommend some to you.
3.1.3. Freight charges. The transportation expenses depend on the route, destination, season, location of warehouse and may fluctuate over time. Before sending the goods, please consult us about the price. Some transportation companies can offer constant clients a fixed price in a period of time.
3.1.4. The time of delivery. Based on past experiences, delivery time mainly depends on the speed of customs clearance in the destination country. The speed of customs clearance is closely linked with the political situation in the country, the policy of levying customs duties, and the stability of important persons in the leadership of customs.
3.2.1.Provided that the total volume of your goods is sufficient for loading into a standard shipping container, and if you want to save shipping costs and are willing to wait,shipping by rail is also an option. However, the rates for shipping by rail in different countries are different, also there is a possibility that the place of receipt would be far from you.
3.2.2.The price of shipping by rail may fluctuates greatly depending on season, type and quantity of goods.
3.2.3.If you decide to deliver goods by rail, we strongly suggest you consult with us before a final decision.
3.3.1.If you need faster delivery, you can choose air delivery. There are direct flights from Urumqi to the capitals and most major cities in all neighboring countries. But we must remind you:
- Price for air freight is relatively high.
- You must book a cargo space at least 2 days in advance and prepare all the documents.
- You need handle customs clearance yourself at the place of receipt.
- In the case of bad weather the flight may be delayed or cancelled, especially in winter.
- Shipping price varies greatly depending on season, type and quantity of goods.
3.3.2. If you decide to deliver goods by air, we strongly suggest you carefully consider all the details and consult with us before a final decision.
3.4.1. If, due to special reasons, our client must deliver the goods by sea to a specific port, we also can arrange it. In this case, the goods immediately would be sent from the manufacturer’s warehouse to the port designated by the client and load on board.
3.4.2.Because most of our clients are from land-locked countries, usually sea transportation is rarely necessary. Although it is not a problem for us, it's better to consult us before making a final decision.
4.Delivery of Small Parcels, Courier Services
If you plan to send a small parcel through courier service from Urumqi to your city, then, subject to the law, you have the following options:
4.1.International Courier Services and Postal Services
The most well-known companies are FedEx, DHL, and postal service such as EMS. Their services are very reliable, but the prices are quite high. In addition, those international courier services take time. For example, sending a small parcel weighing 1 kg from Urumqi to Almaty through FedEx would cost about $ 100 and takes about 1 week.

Near the hotel “Bianjiang Hotel”, and “Western Region Light Industry Base”,as well as the shopping mall "Shang Mao Cheng Trading Center", there are a lot of transport companies. Usually these companies have branches in different countries, their employees often go back and forth, and can provide delivery services of small parcels to regular clients at very competitive prices, sometimes even free. But not all transport companies are able to provide such services. In addition, these services can be unstable in price and time. Some of them may refuse to provide courier services due to the complexities of customs clearance in the destination country.
4.4. Sending Parcels by the International Buses(Only Available for Clients from Kazakhstan.)
4.4.1.There is a direct international bus route from Urumqi to Almaty. Many courier services companies take advantage of unoccupied luggage compartment in coach to deliver small parcels. Parcels can be delivered to most major cities within Kazakhstan. In recent years their services are considered to be fairly reliable - if the parcel was lost or damaged during delivery, they takes responsibility and pays compensation according to the value of the goods. But they may refuse to accept some "sensitive" goods, or charge a very high fee.
4.4.2. Time: normally a parcel reaches Almaty within 48 hours and other cities within 90 hours.
4.4.3.Tariffs: those companies providing courier service usually charges for their services in accordance with the difficulty in delivery.
For example, in May 2024 we send a parcel (size:250*200*120 mm,weight: 1 kg) to Almaty and our client paid KZT 5000 for it. (Price is for reference only).
